We profit from a privileged geographical location, near the meeting place of the Loire and Allier: "le Bec d'Allier".
     Downstream, the reserve of "Val de Loire" extends from Charité sur Loire to Sancerre, upstream, that of "Val d'Allier", the most important ornithological reserve  after the Camargue.
